臨睡前，Gee 一如以往在床上滾動。。。突然間。。。

Gee： 麻味，我成日都好掛住你架！
麻味： （已經暈曬大浪。。。然後攬住GeeGee） 麻味都好掛住你架！！

這種甜蜜的感覺好似回到拍拖的時候~~~~ ^o^

晚上回家麻味在床上休息片刻，爸比和朗言在廳玩。。。

爸比： 麻味肚裏面那個是妹妹，知唔知？
Gee： 唔係~！
爸比： （好緊張地） 咁係咩呀？
Gee： 係BB！！

麻味在房間笑到好大聲！！~~

晚上睡覺。。。

Gee： 麻味~ 我忽然之間覺得有小小急屎屎。。。
麻味： （高聲呼叫） 爸比~~~ 有人急屎屎呀~~~

臨訓Gee 叫麻味講故事。。。爸比都在。

麻味： 麻味講故事好唔好聼？
Gee： 好聽。
麻味： 爸比講故事好唔好聼？
Gee： 唔好聽。

麻味頓時眉飛識舞，馬上拿個相機打算錄起。。。

！！！！！！！！ 點解講的東西完全相反？！？！ 爸比話你故意，因爲看到我想拍低。於是麻味放下相機，再重復問以上四條問題。Gee 竟然話麻味講故事好聽和識講，爸比講故事就唔好聽。。。

然後麻味再次開始攝錄。。。 重復問題。

Gee 的答案竟然和上次拍下的一樣！！所以Gee是故意整蠱麻味的！！！！O_o

星期六下午麻味要趕在7點前把舊書捐出，出門時已經是6點多。 捐書地點在嫲嫲家旁邊， 走路過去要十幾分鐘。 本來想坐巴士， 但麻味沒有帶八達通， 爸比又不夠零錢。。。

爸比： 無得搭巴士啦， 因爲沒有 cling cling cling （零錢）。
Gee： （想也沒有有想） 咁搭的士啦！
爸比&麻味： （驚訝對望。。。 Gee 講得有道路！）

Sweet Elder Brother

早上麻味準備換衣服，Gee 走過來。。。

Gee： 麻味我想摸下bb呀。
麻味： 好呀。 等我著埋件衫比你同佢講早晨，好唔好？（然後麻味開始換衫。。。）
Gee： （指住麻味。。。） 呢到要來沖奶奶架~
麻味： 呢到用來pump奶奶架， 遲d pump 比bb同你飲。 可以摸下bb啦。
Gee： （用手指輕輕掂下麻味肚腩） 要細細力摸架~ 唔好咁大力呀， bb 會喊架！
麻味： 乖啦~ 你同bb 講早晨啦~
Gee： （一邊走出房間一邊自言自語） 遲d 你同bb 玩好無？同你一齊玩積木。

今天晚上團年飯會向家人公佈有BB，並訓練Gee 做公佈。

爸比： 係男仔還是女仔？
Gee： 男仔。
麻味： （大笑~~~） 你想要細佬定係細妹呀？
Gee： 細佬。
爸比： 不如要細妹呀？

公公大廈門口有一個桔被人踩扁左。 回到家后。。。

Gee： 麻味，公公門口個"柑"做乜野呀？

找麻味

昨晚Gee 和麻味在大床睡着后，Gee 就被放囘自己的細床。。。 然後麻味和爸比在廳正準備欣賞電視， 聽到房間有聲音。麻味入房后在細床看不到GeeGee。。。 心裏想，明明已經把剛才已經把GeeGee 放返去細床，唔通我記錯？ 把門再開大d，看到Gee 帶埋自己張被訓返在大床爸比個位。。。

麻味： 點解你上左來既？
Gee： 佢去搵麻味咯~
麻味： （又成個冧曬~~ 連忙錫錫Gee~~ ^0^）

趁Gee訓返，麻味又靜靜雞溜出去繼續看電視。。。 點知過左一陣房間又傳來聲音。

麻味： 做乜野呀？
Gee： 麻味呢？麻味去左邊度呀？
麻味： 麻味係到！麻味拖住Gee 訓好無？

麻味比左一只手指Gee 拖住。。。 本以爲Gee 已經訓著，想離開，Gee 馬上拖緊手指。。。 -_-" 幾經辛苦先再溜到出去，但個心好甜~~~~

麻味之前和 Gee 提過麻味個肚裏面有個BB，Gee 沒有大反應。 前幾天晚上臨睡前。。。

Gee： （自言自語） 麻味遲D生個BB出來你同佢換片呀！

Gee： 同佢玩。。。同餵佢飲奶奶。

Special Monday

Got the cold and cough from Gee and taken Babei's medicine the night before. Since the sytomps are getting worse, wanted to have medicine again after lunch, but a special hunch asked me to check first.
To save the trouble of buying tester every time, I decided to buy two this time, thinking that it will be another fruitless trial...
As usual, first line appeared and would expect it to be like this. But then a very faint line started to show... Oh My God... have experienced this a second time, I calmly went back to have lunch, but will sneakily went in the bathroom to double check if the lineS are still there, smiling all the way.
Later a digital one confirmed the good news, now we have a spare tester at home. :)

Potty Training

星期六下午。。。

睡醒后突然話屙屎屎，麻味馬上拿個屎屎盆出來放在大廁所上。GeeGee 玩厠紙，沒有屎屎~ 爸比然後話，如果下次成功在大廁所屙屎屎就有朱古力吃。

午飯后，GeeGee 坐在椅子上臉色有變，爸比麻味馬上轉移GeeGee 到大廁所，好彩屎屎盆沒有收起。這次GeeGee 認真的用力了，然後聽到爸比的歡呼聲！！ GeeGee 成功在大廁所第一次去大便！！ 哈哈！完事后給GeeGee 一番鼓勵並獎勵M&M朱古力！！

星期日晚上。。。 GeeGee 和爸比在房間準備睡覺，麻味在沖涼。。。

突然爸比大叫"麻味GeeGee 話屙屎屎，可以入來嗎？"
麻味： （剛剛開始沖涼。。。） 可以。。。"

搞笑的情況出現，GeeGee 在大廁所努力中，爸比在旁鼓勵，麻味就繼續一邊偷笑一邊沖涼。

GeeGee 還不時在蒸汽中 buu jaa 麻味, 場面實在非常滑稽！

GeeGee 最終成功連續兩天自己提出去大測試便便，原來這小小的進步對於父母來説卻是萬分自豪。 :)

超級市場呢？

早上去完合和薈軒飲茶，在7樓Gee又想走入玩具店玩。。。

麻味： 行快d入lift啦~ 我地去超級市場買螺絲粉，上次唔記得買呀。
Gee： （聽到后很乖的入lift。。。）

（到地面后，對面馬路有吊雞車在吊貨物，看了一陣。。。 正想回家。。。）

Gee： （眼睩睩咁望住麻味。。。） 超級市場呢？超級市場系邊度架？
麻味： （無奈地轉身回去超級市場。。。 -_-" GeeGee 記性真好。）

睡覺

Gee 半夜醒左。。。

Gee： 錫錫麻味先~
麻味： （好眼訓，但都起身錫錫GeeGee。。。 並希望GeeGee 會自己訓返）
Gee： （訓低一陣又起身。。。） 攬攬麻味先。。。
麻味： （唯有要好。。。）
Gee： （訓低又再起身。。。） 上來攬住麻味訓！
麻味： （本來好不願意被吵醒，但又對這個建議不能抗拒。。。） -___-"

GeeGee 霸佔了麻味大半邊床，麻味有半個身在床外面。。。 因爲太累，大家都好快就這樣睡着了。 天亮的時候才發現半邊身麻痹左！！
雖然明知道不應該讓GeeGee 半夜上大床訓，但GeeGee的建議掌握了麻味不能抗拒的重點！！^o^

A Born Lawyer

麻味鄭重和Gee解釋不要再向看更姨姨或叔叔拿飽飽，如果拿左飽飽，姨姨和叔叔晚上就沒有得吃。Gee表示明白，並不會向姨姨叔叔拿飽飽。升降機開門，步出大堂。。。

Gee: 姨姨，糖糖呢？
麻味: （滴汗中。。。又真係遵守諾言沒有拿飽飽。。。拿糖糖！！！）

Angel and Devil

Babei said when you are sleeping or with sufficient rest you are a little angel with broadest smile. But when you are very tired, you are a little devil who will run around aimlessly, lick all surfaces, and throw things on the floor!!

Mamei and Gee were walking in bookstore and Gee spotted a big plastic Pegga Pig car containing building blocks. Gee wanted to put it on the floor and pull it around, Mamei said No.

Stuttering Log

17-18 October 2014: You started to stutter and repeat the first word of the sentence for several times like "依依依依個咩尼架？" I think you are not too consicious when doing this and sometimes you speak normally. This happens suddenly. Checked online, and seems this is a common episode for children aged 2-5. Parents are advised not to stress on the repetition and most of them will outgrow it after a while.

25-26 October 2014: Stuttering is on and off during the week, but it intensified suddenly these two days. You started to struggle and have to take a long deep breath before making the first sound and stuttered again for the first word before completing your sentence. Since you are stuggling very hard to pronounce the first word, can see you tried to force out the word, so it always ended up stuttering very loud. It really worries us.

27-28 October 2014: Spoken with Auntie Yap Choi and she reassured us that many children go through this stage. Based on the preliminary behaviours of yours, it sounded like you are at risks, however, you are too young to do any assessment and she asked us to continue to monitor your situation and logged down everything.

You got better and have less repetition. When you speak, you will take a long deep breath until you can hear the throat is rubbing itself before speaking.

29 -31 October 2014: The stuttering is basically gone without notice. However, you will sometimes take a long breath and rubbing the throat before speaking. I find you actually have spoken more difficult sentence structures after recovering from the stuttering.

We trust you can overcome!!! Add oil GeeGee!!

Sudden Stuttering

You had a sudden stuttering last Saturday, keep repeating the first syllable for a few times before continue your sentence. At first, we thought you were just playing, we tried to remind you and asked you to take it slowly. However, seems the more we suggested, the worse you do.

 

You will like "依依依個咩呢架？" "唔唔唔吃飯"。。。

 

This lasted for 2 days and it started to make us worry. Babei even thought that you might get hurt (on the brain?!), so you have this sudden change from a fluent speaker to a stuttering toddler.

 

Thanks to internet and the huge mommy online community, it seems that your condition is rather common between age of 2-5, where your brain sometimes works much faster than your mouth, and you might have too much to want to say, but unable to find the right words.

 

It is suggested to let the child to work through this phase by himself, as constant reminders will make the child even more nervous and unable to speak confidently. So we ignored your stuttering in the next few days, and will speak to you in normal ways even you stuttered. Surprisingly, the stuttering just goes away in a few days.

 

GeeGee, do you know little things of yours can just shake up Mamei's world.

You continued to impress me with your impressive language skills. We were sitting on the floor playing, and when I said Mamei has to get up, you then said "扶住麻味起身先"。

Master of Distraction

We thought we are good in distracting you and seems you learnt this as well.

1) You went to play with main door knob, and Mom stood in front of the knob to block your access. You tried a few times in vain, and you suddenly pointed at the Thomas poster below the door knob, say "Thomas!!". Then you pointed at the differnt shapes on the poster saying...正方形，三角形。 Mom moved away from the knob and talked about shapes with you.

2) You liked to play with a big paper fan of grandma and you enjoyed the breeze that we made using the fan. When we asked you to climb into the stoller, you refused. Then Babei said。。。

爸比:你爬上架車到，我幫你撥扇
Gee (馬上坐系地上):唔爬。系依到撥扇！

Distraction failed on Babei.

Fondness Towards Babei

You have a huge fondness towards babei recently and refused to sleep without him in the room. Even before Babei goes to have shower you will say... 麻味熄燈出去。

When I closed the door and you will cry for Babei, and requested to open the door.

Double or Single or Both?

Doubled last night and singled again this morning.. O_o

Double Eyelidss For One Day

Glad to see you have double eyelids on both eyes on Monday morning... finally, you certainly looked a bit different... softer...more symmetrical, but secretly I think I prefer your one double eyelider look, that is more familiar and with more character.

Funny to see your double eyelids again after work and believed this will be permanent. 

It was not. You are back to your "normal" eyelid on Tuesday and Wednesday.

So the one double eyelid is actually "the permanent". O_o

 

Missing Mamei

Babei said you started to say "Mamei neh?" yesterday...

Last Mami Milk

When I bring you the last bottle of Mami milk, you had a sip, then said "麻味擠多d奶奶比朗言飲"

I did mention before that Mamei might not be able to give you more Mami milk because of business trips. But then how can you know this is the last bottle? You have never said anything similar before, and this time the timing is precisely prefect.

You never fail to amaze me.

Cherry Seed

Mum allows you to have a bite on a cherry, you had the first bite, very yummy. Then you had a huge second bite, and you have eaten the seed!!! Mum panicked and asked you to open your mouth. You refused... Now with your teeth fully grown and mum cannot insert the finger into your mouth without your cooperation.

 

Tried to use chocolate and other food to lure you, but you still refused to open your mouth!! You then chewed on the seed for a while and SWALLOWED it!!!!!  -___-"

 

Mum was very worried even it is understand that the seed will come out in a few days…. Make me feel like a bad mum.

 

Finally the seed arrived safely and intact after one day.

Gee rushed to the room and played the switch of 抽濕機
Mum: 邊到 beep beep 聲呀？
Gee pushed the on/off switch and say: 依到！
Mum: 曳！
Gee: 出返去nu~ (and wonders out of the room)

Gee wanted Dad to fetch the Nini for him, and did not want to do it himself. Dad refused...
Gee: 爸比唔該你那！爸比唔好咁那！

Building Up The Library

Osaka Big Family Trip

Finally we embark our first ever big family tip, having all four grandparents, Suksuk and us three. Everything went smoothly, Yeye, Mama and Suksuk can take the same flight as us. Before getting on the speed train from Airport, you became a bit fuzzy and sleep. I tried to sing you a song, and say, 麻味唱monkey 比你聼好唔好? You said, 唔唱. -____-"" Ok fine… I hear you.

It turned out that you had a fever, so making you extra tired. You have been a good boy, behaving at your best when you had enough sleep, and only fuzzed a little bit when we were in the hot and stuffy subway.

Day 2

A Walk in the shopping mall after breakfast, a lady from the shopping bowed to the customers entering the store. You saw this and imitate the lady's action by bending low. You smiled and knew you have successfully learnt something new. 

Went to Umeda in the afternoon.

Day 3

Mommy had great time in Akachan!! Bought you a lot of snacks!

Day 4

We went to Kyoto and the grandparents changed into kimonos while we had ice cream at a roadside shop, and later lunch in the nearby restaurant. During lunch, I smelled something and asked if you have pooed…you said yes!!

Good thing is, you choose a good time and venue to poo, bad thing is, the washroom does not have diaper changing kit. So we decided to change you on the small area between the sinks in the ladies room. You are now so tall that half of your bottom was hanging off… so Daddy decided to come into the ladies room to help.

We managed to change and clean you in like 1 minute and walked out as if nothing happens. Lucky that no one came in during our business.

Light pink rashes appear on your body at night… panicked for a while… then looked up the internet and found that you were having 玫瑰疹. High fever for a few days, and when fever ceased, rashes appeared on face and later spread to body and trunks. It is normal for children between 6 months to 2 years old, harmless rashes. Good thing is the rashes are not itchy and you are basically the same except getting tired easily.

Feeling relived and proud of you for being a good boy despite feeling unwell.

Day 5

Planned to go to Kobe and even bought the tickets, but you started to be cranky when in subway. Since the train journey has to be around an hour, I decided to take you home to rest whilst Daddy took the Ng's family to Kobe. Subway gave me full refund on the ticket when I exit the gate.

Daddy gave me a live broadcast of his Kobe Beef Feast!!! Next time we should go together!!

Day 6

Coming home! You sleep well on the plane on Daddy's lap and even helped Daddy to push the trolley. Rashes were all gone the next day.

Hope to bring you travelling everywhere in the world.

Love To See You

Mummy was out dinner with Client last night and only came back at 10:30pm, heard that you are still babbling and awake, so I opened the door... When you saw me, you beamed instatntly and kept saying mamei mamei mamei!!! All the tiredness was gone instantly!

This morning when grandma took out the sling, you said "麻味，孭, 麻味，孭", followed a few determined nods. ^__^

Your recent attachment to me makes me want to stay with you always!!

Proud of Myself

Mummy is proud of myself for my own persistence and focus to accomplish this long and big project. Seeing you grow into a strong and healthy and intelligent little man gives me the energy and determination to repeat this routine process a few times every day for the past 17 months!!

I hope I have given you the health foundation which you can be benefit for life.

Everything Fun and Beautiful

When popo first purchased the picture book of insects, we thought the images were gross. There were crockroach, spider, mosquito, moth...and all other unknown hard shell insects.

However, you are very interested in knowing the name of each and every insect, and you tried to repeat their names after us. You also find moving ants and snails facinating, insisting we go and check them out whenever we walk pass the garden.

You can identify the on/off buttons of electric appliances very quickly, and set your goal to try out the effects of each one.

You are looking at this world with a pair of fresh eyes, no prejudice, no pre-judgement, everything is fun and beautiful.

Memory Palace

I am sure you have an excellent memory palace, when you saw the ant in picture book, you said 婆婆, because you remembered seeing an ant on the table in 婆婆's home. You can recall all the "friends" on 冠冠's bed, including 鴨鴨，巴斯，woody and bear bear. You also able to say the insect names from the same picture book without looking at it, 螞蟻，蜘蛛，蝸牛，曱甴，蚊。

Besides throwing things at me to wake me up, you now will say "麻味起身"! You started to form short sentences like, 姨姨比飽飽， 麻味執pig pig，姨婆比餅餅.

Saved the Shoe!

Babei was holding you and walking down the street, a doggy was walking towards you and you pointed at it and yelled "wow wow".

As the doggy walked passed you, you suddenly turned around and yelled "mamei 執"! First I thought... you want me to 執 the dog?? Then I turned around and saw that you dropped one of your shoes!!! You wanted me to picked up the shoe, not the dog!! ^_^

At 16.5 months, we are so proud of you!!

Same Time Last Year

Same time last year, you were still a baby who always asleep and at most giggles when we make silly faces. Now you are a little man who walks around and is able to express your basic needs. I still remembered the excitement of shopping your babies clothes online and when it finally delivered, it is sweet moments in imagining you in those outfits.

 

Treasure every moment that you still need me to bath you, feed you and change diapers for you.

Little Sweetheart

You probably do not aware your capabilities in sweeten up mood and brighten up one's day. When you walk out of the main door, you will stop to see if I am following. After waiting for a bit you will call "Ma Mei", and will only start walking again when you see me walking towards the door. My heart is melted.

麻味 is the best nickname I have ever had.

Order Breakfast

You have been awake for quite some time, but we would like to stay in bed as long as possible on a Sunday morning, hence your breakfast time was delayed for 45 minutes than usual. Finally you could wait no more… you took the opportunity when I looked at you with half opened eyes to point at me, and then to the door and says 奶奶!! Okay. Instruction received.

Before I moved further, you pointed to me and say 曳曳!! Sorry lor… -_-""

Give Instructions

As a usual holiday routine, you are the one who wakes us up. Today, I heard you keep babbling 白白 and yeee, which is the indication for 洗白白 and 屎屎. I thought you just happen to make these sounds randomly, then I asked you whether you have or see see, then you pointed to the bathroom and say 白白. Also, you tried to grab your diaper to show clearly what you want. All these indications point to a clear message than just a mere coincidence.

I then approached and smelled your diaper and your message is well received. ^-^

First Little Step

You are actually strong enough to stand on your own for a few seconds without support, but still prefer to crawl around. Last night I let go of my hands when you are in standing position, you managed to stand alone for at least 5 seconds. I saw your satisfied smile before sitting back down on your own. Do you know what you have achieved?

Later you were standing next to the cupboard with support, then you released your grip and took a little step and walked towards me.

Even it was a little step, it is exciting enough for me.

A Little Kiss

I was holding you after lunch, and you suddenly lean your face towards mine. At first I was wondering I have got nothing edible on my face… Then a relative yelled, "He is giving you a kiss!!". Yes, gently, lightly a little kiss on my cheek. ^o^

Pointing

Our communication becomes two-way lately after you have mastered the skill of pointing things you want / the answers of our questions.

You have successfully showned us you understand the location of Mcdull and where about of the monkey in the book.

I was eating lunch and Papa was drinking 鈣思寳, you were sitting in your high chair and us on dining table. You used your left hand to point at the drink to request a sip, after Papa took no action, you immediately pointed my lunch box using your right hand. :D

Standing Up

As part of the usual routine, you were in your crib playing on your own while we rest a bit before bathing you. You stood up using the crib as support, leaned yourself against the crib and smiling at us. Suddenly you were waving both of your hands in the air in a standing position without any support!! You seemed to know what you have achieved and laughing loudly!! Hahahaha!!!

This is the first time we saw you release any grip to stand up on your own! Can't wait to witness your first step!

Wall Licking

You have inherited my love-for-food genes, as you take huge interests in everything that is edible or non-edible.

Last night when grandma was holding you and eating a chocolate muffin, you licked your lips and swallowed saliva and locked your eyes on the muffin. While after a few seconds you saw grandma is not sending the muffin into your mouth, you leaned forward trying to eat by yourself! Finally you successfully get a tiny crumb into your mouth, you seemed to enjoy the new taste sensation of a chocolate muffin. ^O^

Back home, you were in your crib waiting to be bathed. You got bored and started to lick the wall... I discovered and called your name loudly hoping you will turn around. You then responded calmly and loudly with a "Hm?", as if you are asking me back "What's the matter? Can't you see I am Wall Licking?!".

Looking for McDull~

A 10 month 10 days old, you are capable of understanding a handful of words like 爸爸，媽媽，星星餅，屎屎,沖涼，鴨仔，熄燈，Kangaroo, 扁嘴，拍手，Hello~~~~ and of course your name Ah Gee and 朗言。

The newly learnt word is 苹果 and McDull!!

Last night we tried to put a little apple on the floor and cover it with a plastic cup. We purposely put other empty plastic cups on the floor trying to confuse you. But you are able to lock your eyes on the cup with the apple underneath, lift the correct cup and find the apple!

Then you were facing the sofa with the McDull cushion, and I asked you where is McDull, trying to point you towards the cushion. But you turned and look around the room... from left to right...searching... and stopped your eyes on the McDull decoration on the main door!!!

So happy to see you progress day by day. :) 

Cheerful Kid

When you saw us entered the house tonight, you raised right arm in the air and yelled "Oa~~~". Everyone in the room was burst into laughters. ^-^

Growing Up

In the last two weeks, you have managed to learn how to drink from a straw, pull your self up to standing and sit back down gracefully.

These do not seem newly-learnt techniques to you, you just act like you are refining these skills to perfection.

Baba Baba~

You finally managed to babble the first meaningful sound and it is Babababa!!! Whilst you do not know the meaning but you clearly enjoy the sound of it, so you kept babababa all the time.

Baba obviously is the happiest soul and we decided to crack open a bottle of red wine on a Monday evening for celebration!!

Time to set off for mama training!

Ar Ba!

We were lying in bed lazily after feeding you on a sunny Sunday morning. You were sitting between us and started to get bored. Papa closed his eyes and were about to doze off.  You sat face to him and suddenly said, "Oi~~~ Ar Ba!!!". Papa opened his eyes and beaming excitedly! He jumped up immediately and gave a huge hug!!!!

Whilst not sure whether you know the meaning of "Ar Ba!", but definitely you know how to seek attention!~

At 7 Month

After being a mother for 7 months, everything starts to sink in now...
 
Now will miss the belly bump body shape and the thrill of waiting to see the ultrasound in the clinic;
 
Now will appreciate the slow motion in everything during pregnancy and the convenience of movie / dinner / gathering any time you want;
 
However, the joy and contentment that you have brought us outweight the sleeplessness, the tiredness and every single inconvenience. You turned us into alert sleepers, we can hear a slight sneeze during sleep and be wide awake when you make a little sound. You trained us to have good patience, we learnt not to be angry and frustrated when you cried and screamed, instead to be more loving to calm you down.
 
We have transcended to a different world, a world that only parents could understand.
 
We hope you healthy, we hope you well, we hope you can allow us to cuddle you when you older. We also hope one day you can have your own children, so you can understand the happiness that you have brought us.

Tried both breast and bottle feeding, it definitely requires great skills and patience.

Can feel a long road ahead already, hope he is more cooperative and am learning fast enough.

It is an enjoyable process though. ^o^

Happy Birthday

Is it you or just coincidence that my iPhone broke down and almost lost ALL the previous photos for the past 3 years... Luckily finally can retrieve majority of them.

Finally had a lovely dinner with good view, to celebrate your coming tomorrow. About to take a nice shower afterwards, but then found out the water supply of the building was down when I was literally about to rub the shampoo on my hair!!! Again luckily hair was just wet and the shampoo was still on my hand.

So... I shall see all these as my luck.

Now nothing is more important than your birthday!!

Fliping a Breech Baby

Check up on Monday shows he is still in Breech position, i.e. head up and bottom down. Doctor recommended us to book the operating room for C section first in the week of 10 Dec (~38 wk), and in case he flip right before the operation, we can always cancel and wait for a natural delivery.

Worried about the cutting and sewing skills of my Doctor, we checked online for various ways to flip a breech baby.

Tried to put three pillows under my butt and remain in this breech tilt for 15 minutes. Yesterday, I put an ice pad on where his head is supposed to be. People says this will make him move away from the cold and helps flipping.

Funny enough, when I was in tilted position, the kicks become more severe under the belly. As if he is protesting that he is faaaaallllliiiinnnggg~~~~~

Bed is Ready

Finally moved the closet to another room and get your bed ready. Having the bed in the room makes me wonder how will it be with you lying on it, crying, wetting your diapers, drinking milk and sucking fingers... ^O^

Will See You Soon

Now can understand the dilemma of most expectant mums. One hand, it is getting excited as the due date is coming and finally can see you in person. On the other, will miss the magical moments of your kicks and hicupps inside the tummy; will miss the time we were "absolutely together"; will miss my baby bump...

Really enjoyed being pregnant!!

I See Love Today

It is hard for others to imagine, a spoiled child who only eats fruits which are peeled and chopped is running around looking for air con cleanser and disintegrated the air con for vacuuming and cleaning... so that no one ever has to sleep on the sofa again.

Sleeping on the Sofa

Last night, since papa insisted the weather is cool enough not to switch on air conditioning and there was strange smells coming out from the machine... we switched it off... and he had a sweet sleep but we were sweating wet.

So it's the first time that someone has to sleep on the sofa, and that was us!!! But it feels so much better with the air con in the living room.

Papa's Prompt Help

Alarm clock rang and pressed snooze as usual. Took a stretch and leg cramp again!! I yelled 抽筋呀！ Then papa jumped up in 0.5 second and helped to relieve the cramp.

The speed of his reaction make the whole thing quite sweet and hilarious.

75 days to Baby

A colleague just reminded me that I will have to go on maternity leave in about two months time. Supposedly, the official due date is 75 days from now... 

Bearing a child is indeed one of the most interesting experiences. Your body will take care most of the magical works and turn your tummy into a comfortable living environment, providing nutrients, oxygen, waste management, etc.

It is fun to see your belly grows day by day, and how your body reacts to the extra pounds that you put on. Our bodies are actually quite adaptable.

Used to get paranoid and anxious in the first few months, longing the Doctor's visit so you can see his heart pumping healthily and turning around. These worries go away once you can feel his moves. Your heart settles down, being more calm and anticipate where will he kick in the next move. 

Buying tiny clothes and making little garments for him is a quite peaceful process. Hope to enjoy rest of the pregnancy before it is changed to constant feeding and diaper changing.

C Egg

I think we both had a good laugh after watching Wong Zi Wah's stand up comedy show, coz I felt your kicks are much stronger and non-stop during the show.

When I am about to sleep, I felt your rhythmic movements under the belly. It was not like the random usual kicks, but came in one beat after another. There's a good reason to believe that you are having your c egg!! This also mean that your head is moving down now~

So Satisfied!

Might be a bit small even for newborn, but it's my first crochet vest. Today you are extra active, so I hope this is your approval of my work. :)

Belly Button

Always proud to have some depth for my belly button, but in order to make way for the grow of BB... it is coming out!!!!

Good side is you can clean the thousand year dirt more easily, but it just does not look good, specially the shape of the belly button is being distorted by stretching and expansion of the tummy.

Well, it is not flat yet... hopefully it stops here.

My Christmas Present

My Christmas Present's kicks are getting serious, I can see the belly jumping today. Too bad the stomach gas is coming back again, and probably is because the Present is growing bigger and pushed away my stomach which cause slower digestion rate.

Tonight will get some X'mas presents for my Christmas Present!!

95 Days to Baby

Suddenly want X'mas to come faster, not because of the baby, but missed the atmosphere of X'mas. Cold wind, lighting decorations, smell of the X'mas trees, gift buying and everyone is in good mood.

Of course the baby arrival will make this year's X'mas a very special one.

Maybe it's time to think of what X'mas gifts to give away... ...

Swim

We had our first swim together today! I could hardly fit into my old swim suit... it makes me look like those Leng Mo who intentionally wear one / two sizes down, so can have the enhanced cleavage. O_o

I do like my new image with enhanced breast and non-hide-able tummy.

Does not look sexy, but content.

Kick in the Face

Work up from afternoon nap, papa asked if you are still sleeping, I said probably yes. Then he rolled me back and forth trying to wake you up.

Funny enough I can really feel your kicks after the rolling!! Then I asked him to feel you, he then put his left ear on my stomach trying to hear your movement.

Suddenly you gave him a strong kick which is enough to send him jumping. Haha~ He deserved it for interrupting your sleep.

This is very trivial and yet so sweet. :)

Leg Cramps AGAIN

Leg cramps early in the morning, worst still, woke up with a hungry stomach.

First Time in MTR

Took MTR during rush hour from Admiralty to TST. Luckily, just waited for two cars and can get in. Trying to stay as close as to the door, so can get off quickly at the next stop.
Stood right next to the first seat and hoping to leave asap. A 3x old man sitting at the first seat poked my arm after looking at me for two seconds and offered me his seat. I politely declined and told him I am getting off at the next station.

He looked a bit embarrased, and then abruptly stood up and said, 咁都坐一陣啦！

Accepted the seat full of gratitude. Though it is only one station, a period less than 4 minutes, the little gesture is very much appreciated!!!

When leaving, I poked him and said Thank you!! He then replied, 應該既！

My heart is filled with warmth and sincerely hope that young man can also felt my gratitude.

Leg Cramps

First leg cramp at middle of the night... slept on left side, and right leg cramped!!!!!

We Felt You

I had been feeling some suspicious movements of yours over the last week. Sometimes a tickle here and a small pain there, but was never sure.

This morning at around 1am, your papa puts his palm on my tummy trying to feel your kicks before going to bed. You must have performed a severe kick. The air was frozen for two second, we looked at each other, and we know it is you who made that little jump on my tummy.

10 Years Ago

This day 10 years ago, I was embarked on one of the adventurous journey that opened my eyes & mind to the greater world. Soooo soooo glad that I did it!!

Being Loved

It was another usual day going back to mum's home and collect dinner ingredients. This time mum and dad were not there to greet me with loud welcome, they had dinner gathering.

House was dark and quiet; opened the fridge and took out the washed, chopped and assorted ingredients... all I felt is love.

Almost Half Way Through

Welcoming a new life to the family is both exciting and pressurizing. Thoguhts like is the current place big enough? Is there room to fit the extra furniture and diaper stocks? Does he have enough space to move around?

Now I am in the so-called Pregnancy Honeymoon. I can eat well, sleep well, nasty symtoms are yet to appear and the belly is not too huge to obstruct your movements.

Planning is required but guessed now should be more focused in enjoying the majestic life of a pregnant woman and preparing some handmade toys for my little man. ^0^
