Be Grateful

It is always rewarding to chat with different friends, to get to know how they see things. For the same incident, we perceive differently.

You used your hard earn money to provide the best environment for your children... now they have grown up, holding several degrees from respectable Universities. And yet, the gap between is enlarging by each step they go forward.

They speak another language that make no sense to you; they adopt another culture that with contradicting values with your own; their ideas seem ridculous to you... they have advanced, excelled and have a better life than youself, but you cannot understand them any more.

At times, or many times, we feel we are much better than our parents in all ways. We can master computer, we speak English, we earn more... but let's go back, it is them who pick the schools, it is them who urge us to study, it is them to provide the necessities for our current success. Be grateful, please.
